Scouting is an effective way to help Catholic youths to do their duty to God and to their country. Scouting builds character and teaches devotion to God in an environment that provides wholesome fun under the guidance of strong adult role models. The scouting programs provide a wonderful channel to involve youth in the life of Catholic parishes.
The Oregon Catholic Committee on Scouting is a committee serving Catholic youth and their adult leaders who are affiliated with scouting in Western Oregon. The committee is affiliated with the National Catholic Committee on Scouting® (NCCS).

ORDERING EMBLEMS & PATCHES
Applications are only accepted October 1 to December 14. (Sorry, no exceptions). Applications received after this date will be processed for the following year.

- File a Notification of Intent to Begin Application Form
- Complete: Application for Religious Emblems Counselor
- Must have current Background Check
- Completion of BSA and Youth Protection
- Completion of Counselor Training or Equivalent
