Join us in celebrating as our seminarian, Deacon Chi-Nhan Vo, is ordained a priest this weekend. The Mass of Ordination, celebrated by Archbishop Sample, will take place at St. Mary’s Cathedral on Saturday, November 16, at 11:00 AM.
This ordination also presents a special opportunity to pray for vocations with the Pope Benedict XVI Vocation Monstrance, blessed by Pope Benedict XVI during the Year of the Eucharist. The monstrance was created with the specific intention of encouraging vocations to the priesthood and consecrated life. At the request of Pope John Paul II, then-Cardinal Ratzinger vowed to promote vocations using this monstrance, a promise he fulfilled upon becoming Pope Benedict XVI.
Everyone is invited to participate in a Holy Hour of Eucharistic Adoration for vocations with the monstrance at the following times and locations:
